Made in the USA and allowing for a wider range of mounting location options, the M-LOK AFG is 3/4" shorter than the AFG-2 while maintaining a similar gripping surface area. By positioning the shooter's hand high on the centerline of the bore, unlike conventional vertical fore grips, the M-LOK AFG helps mitigate recoil and control the weapon to facilitate faster, more accurate follow-up shots. All hardware necessary for attachment directly to M-LOK Slots on either aluminum or polymer hand guards and forends is included.

It is sturdy and functions well. Personally think a steeper angle would work better for me. It could also be longer to fit my hands.

I have one of these on both uppers. The M-lok attachment makes it fit nice and tight, and the fasteners are "hidden", so they aren't in the way. I like to wrap my fore finger around the end, and let my other three fingers follow the angled contour. Provides a very stable grip and allows the rifle to be pulled snug into the shoulder. If I decide to get more uppers in different calibers, they will also get this accessory. I highly recommend!

I tried the Hand stop first but the AFG just felt more comfortable for my hand so I kept this installed on my main rifle. Great Magpul quality.
