Until I received this Mossberg 702 plinkster, I had forgotten how much fun it was to shoot a .22lr. Shot beautifully right out of the box. Nice, lightweight, very well made. Bud's Gun Shop does it again fast shipping and not one mark on it. Thanks Budsgunshop.com

I had a difficult time loading the 25 1 cartridge. Started reading reviews from lots of web sites and learned this loading problem is a known issue. While the capacity of the 25 1 is appealing, the cartridge is flawed. I recommend getting to 10 round cartridge version of the Mossberg 702. I have not used the gun and have asked Buds if I can return it since it’s defective. I have not heard back from Buds yet.

    Hi Gerald, yes this is MA compliant (without the 25rd magazine)
    Rifles that are not “assault-style firearms” are permitted (10-round maximum) and include:
    ✔ Any .17 or .22 caliber rimfire rifle.
