• Q: Is this legal in NJ or does the comfortable stock rule it out?

  This is not compliant in NJ.
  "The following are prohibited:
  ✘Semi-automatic rifles that are capable of receiving a detachable magazine and has at least ​two​of the following features: 1.Folding / telescoping stock 2.Pistol grip 3.Bayonet lug 4.Flash suppressor 5.Threaded barrel 6.Grenade launcher"
  This rifle has a detachable magazine, pistol grip, adjustable stock, threaded barrel, and a magazine greater then 10.

• Q: Does anyone know what the gas system length is on this AR10? The Diamondback site says Mid-length, but in the picture is looks like carbine.

  Michael, the above model has a 15" M-Lok Hand guard and the DB10CKMB has a Free Float 10" Keymod Handguard. The difference in cost difference is more a factor of stock level. Buds prices are tied directly with stock level and more of the above model are in stock.

• Q: are 308 & 762 nato the same? will this gun shoot 762 nato?

  Michael, 308 and 7.62x51 are interchangeable in firearms physically. Although not identical, the 7.62×51mm NATO and the commercial .308 Winchester cartridges are similar enough that they can be loaded into rifles chambered for the other round, but the Winchester .308 cartridges are typically loaded to higher pressures than 7.62×51mm NATO cartridges. ***Note: A 308 Chambered rifle such as this one will fire the lower pressure 7.62x51 round just fine***.
