The Hornady Security Rechargeable Dehumidifier is filled with desiccant crystals designed to absorb moisture from your safe, closet, tool chest, or other enclosed area. As the desiccant crystals fill with moisture they change from blue to pink. It eliminates humidity up to 33 cubic feet and contains no harmful chemicals. Once again, Hornady has knocked the ball out of the park by making a GREAT product that works really good. If I ever have to replace it I would buy another one.

The Hornady Rechargeable Gun Sage Drier is much more convenient than the self contained canisters which have to be regenerated by heating the oven up. Just plug it in to recharge it. I bought two so I can charge one while the other is in the safe.

I HAVE ADDED 2 OF THESE NEW HORNADY DRYERS TO 1 OF MY SAFES, WITH THE OLD PLUG IN,, SAME STYLE DRYERS,,.. I TAKE THEM OUT ONCE A WEEK TO RECHARGE AND THESE HORNADY UNITS HAD CHANGED COLOR ONLY SLIGHTLY,,ALSO THEY ARE MUCH THINNER THAN THE OTHER TYPES OF DRYERS.I AM A FAN OF ALL HORNADY PRODUCTS,INC THEIR AMMO.TRY THESE OUT YOU WILL BE HAPPY.
