An iconic rifle, the Remington 700 is still regarded by many to be the standard by which all other bolt actions are measured by. The CDL Stainless Fluted was originally released as a Limited Edition rifle that became so amazingly popular that Remington just had to make a full production run. Even though they are no longer considered 'limited edition' they are still precision manufactured exactly the same as the originals. Machined from solid stainless steel bar stock the cylindrical receiver is designed to give the rifle a stable bedding base for perfect shot placement. With "three-rings-of-steel" engineering, the bolt face locks up inside the counter bored breach which is surrounded by the receiver, giving you one of the strongest bolt actions available. This rock solid receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounts and feature the X-Mark Pro Trigger that breaks crisp and clean, like glass. I had been looking for a NIB Remington 700 CDL SF in .25-06 for a good long period of time checking with all the major sites every couple of weeks or so for over a year. I was presently surprised when this one became available. The rifle is a sight to behold. Fit and finish are near perfect. It is almost too nice to shoot. I havent had it to the range yet as I've just ordered the optic that is going to reside on it. I'm sure it will shoot well. My fun meter is pegged!
