Does the shotgun shoot every type of round or is there a break in point?

John, this has a smooth bore Barrel. For the first 200-250 rounds I'd stick to standard or high velocity rounds. After that you can shoot just about anything. This will shoot bird shot, buck shot or slugs. Since this has a smooth bore rifled slugs will have the best accuracy. This has a 3 inch chamber so it will fire 2-3/4 inch and 3 inch shells. Hope this helps.

John, it is a smoothbore barrel, it will shoot different types, (slugs, buckshot, birdshot) but you need high velocity shells (at least 1300 FPS) for this to cycle properly. Yes, there is a break in period, about 250 rounds. Will shoot 2 3/4" or 3" shells. Even after break in, owners manual clearly sates to use high velocity shells. I can attest from personal experience anything under 1300 fps will not cycle. Stay away from Aguila 2 3/4" shells, no matter the velocity, they jam in mine every time. You will love this shotgun, I have one and it's by far my favorite shotgun to shoot.

Yes, this will take VR series magazines, mka 1919 magazines or ar12 magazines. Item number MKAA1 is a 20 round drum, item number MKA-A3 is a 15 round drum. Just type the item number into buds search. Hope this helps.

Dean, mine came with 2 five round magazines, 3 choke tubes w/wrench in a plastic case, you get an extra piston for heavy loads, (light load piston is installed), a spare barrel nut, there is a 3 way wrench included to assist w/disassembly, there is a magazine limiter if you need to limit your magazine to 2 rds for hunting, a soft cleaning cloth with RIA embroidered, owners manual, and lock. This Accepts Beretta/Benelli Mobil Thread Pattern Choke Tubes and any vr series magazine will work for this. If you Google vr80 magazine you will have plenty of options.

This only comes with one 5 round magazine. This comes with 3 Beretta/Benelli Mobile Chokes: Improved Cylinder, Modified, and Full. And yes this can handle 2-3/4 and 3 inch shells. Buds has a 19 round magazine for this in stock item number 42379 just type the item number into buds search and it'll pop up. Hope this helps.

Beast of a firearm, kicks like a mule and patterns very well. Ran great with all mags and drum. Replaced the buttstock and pistol grip and fit is much better.

This is the most awesome shotgun, I've heard that people are having a hard time with shooting low brass, but ifound that right after buying this I had the bolt open for 10 days and I have no problems shooting low brass. Awesome gun ria and buds.

Awesome! I read the reviews about jams but when I recieved the gun I read the "instructions" and followed their shell recomendations, did get a few jams but just a few.

Cleaned up up and got all the oil off of it. Was a bit finicky on the break in. Checked the 3 gas ports and reamed them out to 16 thousandths and filed the tabs on top of the magazines. Another thing to do is lock the bolt back and leave it for 30 days. After these 3 little hacks the gun runs absolutely fine. Thanks again to Bud's for getting it to my FFL in such good time

Love this gun. The break in period kinda sucks. Hard to cycle at first if you don't use high brass. Overall it's an awesome gun. Be a5 star if it would cycle the first rounds

Had no issues out-of-the-box with #5 federal blue box high-brass 3 3/4 dram (didn't clean it first) . Not a fan of the sites as I'm not used to the AR style and I'm only interested in 15 yards or less. Ran some 00buck through it too and performed as expected. Cleaned it after first use and it did seem fairly dirty around gas system for first 50 rounds , but I don't have anything to compare it to. Thought the recoil was very manageable compared to a Mossberg 500 12Ga for example.
