This is an excellent turkey shotgun. Sharing w new/young hunter so key features for me = adjustable stock (fit is huge in felt recoil), rail was ready for a red dot, common thread pattern for the choke = lots of choices at reasonable prices, and reasonable length since hunting from blinds. Accu-trigger a plus. This is NOT an ultra light shotgun which also helps with felt recoil - tho 3 inch turkey rounds are always a bit snappy. Tight patterns with included choke & standard turkey ammo (have only tested out to 30 yards so far). Bolt was a bit sticky at first - probably because shotgun was very dirty (appears to have sat in warehouse for a while?) All at a very reasonable price.

Super nice shotgun smooth action

Buds checkout made it easy to purchase and was shipped in the time frame given. I picked it up at my local FFL and the transition from Buds to dealer to me was seamless and in perfect condition. The shotgun handles like a rifle and the ability to adjust LOP and comb height makes it even more comfortable. The tang mounted safety is a welcome feature and is smooth and quiet. The trigger is crisp, clean and no creep, really nice. I have a 1-4 scope on it to help out "old eyes" and was able to adjust stock so that it act more like a red dot. The magazines are awkward to lock in place at first but soon becomes a no brainer. Set up on turkey loads at 40 yard and produced tight 12 inch patterns with a few fliers. Then tried pheasant load they performed with only slight larger patterns. Would definitely use 3 inch shell with more shot (it is a 20 ga) in them as they seem to pattern better. So the shotgun does everything I want it to do. Mostly used for squirrel control and needed a little more range. Have brought down squirrels at 50 to 55 yards with this set up. But would have to say it is about 60 - 70% hits at this range. Part of it is me and in part I hardly every get a still target.

I`ve had my 220 Turkey for 3 weeks now and have shot it quite a bit. Out of the box the action was a bit rough but has smoothed out nicely. The choke threads were extremely rough. After removing the choke and reinstalling in dozens of times with good lube on the threads ; they are fine now. Overall finish on the gun was great and the more I shoot it ,the more I love it! The choke that came with the gun was a Trulock .565 and it shoots great. The Winchester Double X shells pattern better than the Longbeard shells. The no. 4`s pattern better than the 5`s with this choke as well as a Comp N Choke tube. It`s a solid 35yd easy shooting turkey gun and I can hardly wait to hunt with it this spring.If you like hunting with a rifle , you will love this shotgun. Have not tried the TSS shot in the gun , just can`t bring myself to pay the price. It`s a great gun and would highly recommend it. LOVE IT !!!
