Perfect!!!!!! That's the fact, i purchased the revolver for my wife who has a small frome ans needed something very dependable. this is the perfect self-defense protection for her. I had been reading good reviews about the Taurus 856 revolvers and decided to try one myself. I chose the 856 ULCH (Ultra Light Hammerless Double Action Only) as my primary carry for small revolvers is in a pocket holster. Bud's did what I have come to expect on my purchases: kept me informed of the status and promptly delivered the firearm to my dealer. Upon receipt I inspected the handgun, including disassembling it. My conclusion is that the quality of build is at least if not better than that of the most recent S&W revolvers I have seen, and the price is considerably better! There were no tooling marks, the finish was uniform, and internally there was no manufacturing debris left. The grips are okay, but I will be replacing them with smooth wood grips as I prefer them for pocket carry. The supplied rubber grips have a certain "tacky" feel to them I don't care for, but YMMV. The rubber grips do cover the backstrap. I have dry fried the handgun using snap caps approximately 300 times. I am concerned with some initial wear of the hand on the extractor star ratchet at the rear of the cylinder. I will be watching this as it has more operations on it. As the newer 856's have a pinned front sight, I chose to replace mine with an orange ring night sight from XS. I have not had a chance to shoot this handgun yet to see if point of impact will match point of aim. At this point I would say I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Great little pistol. Spring kit new pachmayr wood grip and Taurus ameriglo sight and its absolutely amazing. So may aftermarket accessories for this gun. Great service as always from Buds.

This is my first revolver. It’s a Christmas gift for myself from my wife so I haven’t fired it yet but I couldn’t be more pleased with it.
