No, you would want MAG579 for a 10-round or for 5 rounds the MAG549 which should be identical to what comes with the gun. Reason being this uses AICS style magazines that have the catch on the rear of the magazine instead of the side like AR-10 magazines.

A great rifle for the range. A bit on the heavy side because of the heavy barrel. Functions great, shoots a 1 1/2" MOA at 200 yards using hornady 308. Bolt is starting to smooth out some. Love the magpul stock. Recommend

I love this gun!! It's heavy for sure. But it does not move when it's shot with a bipod attached. Very accurate. Love Ruger! The accutrigger is a must. Magpul stock is awesome.

I received the gun from my FFL and upon getting home I noticed that the muzzle brake was not on straight from the factory. It was slightly off from being centered. A quick disassembly and a few seconds in the vice I had it straight. The rifle itself was very well made and the finishes are excellent. The Magpul stock was super comfortable. At the range I was able to get sub MOA @ 100 yards with 168gr otm handloads. This thing is super accurate! The weight of the gun and the muzzle brake made for pleasant shooting. I highly recommend this rifle.
