Savage B22 FV SR Overwatch -
This is a compact and accurate rimfire 22 rifle. I got the rifle in pristine condition, delivered thru my FFL. The man at the counter remarked that the rifle was surprisingly weighty and felt like quality. I've been shooting it off the bench at my local range. I put an economical UTG Leapers 4-16x44 Compact riflescope on it. After 300 rounds, it has operated flawlessly. Shooting RWS Match and Eley Match Biathalon. 1/2" groups at 50 yards, and now that I am getting the feel of the rifle, I think I can do better. I just put low rings on, and I believe I will be looking for a cheek riser. With the picatiny rail that it comes with, the optic just feels a little high compared to the comb. Otherwise, I am very happy with the B22FV. The camo stock looks real nice, too. Great value for money, for an entry into rimfire shooting.

Like the rifle but cannot get any accuracy with .22 hunting ammunition. I am going to try to get accuracy with some .22 match 40 grain ammo.
