John, Buds does not offer a general Law Enforcement discount. They do have a Qualified Professional section where LE Firearms, ammunition and accessories are sold at a manufacturer discount (You can apply/browse here) : https://www.budsgunshop.com/qualified_professional_discounts.php

Buds doesn't really do a law enforcement discount. They do something called qualified professionals on certain items that qualify. Sometimes the item will be at a discount, or it will have extra goodies like an extra magazine. If you want to look into it and submit your credentials just click on menu, then customer help, then police and military discounts, lastly who qualifies. Hope this helps.

Does Bud's current inventory have the Loaded Chamber Indicator? I've heard the SIG is doing away with the LCI on the X5 Legions, but it's still possible to find them in store inventories.

Gerald, the listing is incorrect. The pistol is Striker Fired and has no double-strike capability, although it will click every time you pull the trigger even if the striker is forward. The striker on the SIG Sauer P320 is pre-cocked (SIG prefers the term “partially pre-tensioned”) inside the slide. (The slide must be racked to reset the striker and fire).

Gerald, This P320 is a striker fired handgun. They refer to double action as trigger pull sets striker then releases striker to fire round. This is not da/sa and not da only like a P250. but a striker fired system.

Did they resolve the safety issues with this gun?

Matthew, No drop safety or any other issues with this firearm. This gun never had any recall or safety issues. It is not the stock P320 that had the recalls. Came out after all rolling upgrades took place.

This firearm was well worth the money. I have fired over 500 rounds through it since purchasing and I am loving this gun. It's light, easy to load and racking the slide is a snap. Taking it apart and cleaning it was easy. Reassembly was easy too. Firing it, I shoot better with this gun that I do with my other firearms. I'm not sure if it's the weight of the gun or the design of it but I do seem to shoot better with it. I would like to get a Red Dot for it, but that will have to wait a bit. I am very happy with my purchase and I highly recommend you try one of these out. Rent one at a range, I do not think you will be disappointed with it.

SMOOOOTH! The combination of the light slide and spring makes this cycle SO smooth. The weight of the frame allows you to make accurate follow ups. The trigger is good, but could be better. It's optic ready but you won't be able to keep the rear sights on. It's worth the price if you don't feel like building your own race P320. Registering it on the Sig website will get you a free Legion pistol case and challenge coin. Overall: I'm happy with the purchase.

Fantastic shooting gun out of the box with typical Sig reliability. Crisp trigger with perfect break reset each time. I wouldn’t recommend this gun for a first time shooter as the X frame is heavy but for an intermediate to advanced shooter, this is a great choice.
