Made in the USA, the Magpul CTR (Compact/Type Restricted) Mil-Spec Model is a drop-in replacement buttstock for AR15/M16 carbines using mil-spec sized receiver extension tubes. Designed for light, fast action the streamlined A-frame profile avoids snagging and shields the release latch to prevent accidental activation. The CTR also features a supplemental friction lock system that minimizes excessive stock movement for enhanced weapon stability and an ambidextrous QD sling mount that will accept any push-button sling swivel.

Got this as an upgrade for my S&w MP15-22 sport. Easy to change, perfect fit and looks great. Buds shipped the same day and received it within a couple of days. Great add on for the MP1522.

Even though it says MIL-SPEC, I still had to put a bit of Goon tape around a MIL-SPEC tube to get a quiet fit. It works fine as is, but there's just enough play to get a rattle, and we can't have that.

Good basic carbine stock. Tight fitting and no play on mil spec tube, but still adjusts easily. Recommended!

Excellent quality as always by Magpul. I like the "locking" feature of the stock, it stops the "wobble" once you engage the lock.

Great comfy sturdy stock. A little rattle in the stock but all in all for the price I am extremely happy would recommend to anyone

Decided on the Magpul CTR for several reasons. It was lighter than the stock I had. I thought it had a more comfortable cheek weld than the one I had. I also thought the friction lock was a nice addition. For the price, quality of products that Magpul is known for, and the customer service at Bud's, I definitely recommend this product.

Great quality and price. Buds experience was smooth as usual. Magpul makes the best grips and stocks for the money. I purchased the extra thick butt pad. There is almost no play in the fitting. I have one for my Smith and Wesson M&P 15-22 and one for my Anderson AM15.

Best stock on a budget. This is my first drop in stock and and I’m glad I went with it. This stock hits all the lengths I need it also I’m an average sized shooter. The rubber butt plate makes keeping the stock shouldered ideal and You won’t be disappointment in this stock.
