I bought the Ruger Security-9 and have been very impressed. The gun feels comfortable in the hand, the controls are intuitive, and it’s very manageable to shoot — felt recoil is mild and follow-up shots are quick. Out of several range sessions it ran reliably with factory ammo (no malfunctions). The trigger is better than I expected for a polymer striker-fired pistol in this price range — short reset, reasonably crisp break. Sights are functional for everyday use, and the magazine capacity is generous for concealed carry or home defense. Overall great value and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a dependable, affordable handgun.

I love my Ruger Security 9 15 rounds, but this one, not so much. This shoots very well, but I don't like the grip unless I have the mag with the pinky extension. I traded it for $120 at a local dealer (that's all they'd give me), so it was a loss over all.
