Bought this a year ago (2023) for Christmas to be shared by four kids ranging from 10-16 years old. First impressions; looks nice. Feels tight. Nothing jumps out as low quality. On Christmas morning, i gave the kids the shakedown of how the gun works, safety, etc (they all shoot occasionally, but never a shotgun). We pack the gun along with some clays and a thrower and headed out into the cold in our PJs. After three or four misses, clays were getting hit, wobbling and changing direction. It seemed the clays were getting hit by a pellet or two. I shot the number 8 shot at a 48'x36" cardboard and noticed the pattern was spread much farther than i anticipated. Easy for a clay the fly between pellets. I removed the choke that was in the gun and applied the full choke. Clays started vanishing mid-flight. Scattered clouds. Kids had no issue busting clays with a .410 bearing a full choke, having never shot a shotgun or trap before. I had purchased five different boxes of ammunition to see what the gun will function and what it will not. After a day shooting, i deduced that the gun functions reliably with ammo of at least 1325 fps. Anything below that would fire but not eject. The kids love the gun. I love the gun. Light as a feather. Almost zero recoil. Functions great. I highly suggest this shotgun, especially for youngsters.
