My local shooting range does not allow you to use Steel Jacket or Steel Core ammo, is this ammo one of these?

This ammo is subsonic.,and has a rubber tip. It's got a lead core. If it had a steel core,it would be AP and going as fast as possible,and have a full metalal jacket. Steel core is for Armor Piercing rounds.

Isn’t the pointed tip ammo dangerous and likely to go off while in the tube of a lever action rifle due to recoil while the pointed tip is touching the cap of bullet in front of it?

Hornady Subsonic 45-70 Gov 410 gr Sub-X 20rd box. Well in 45-70 caliber ammo..... Hornady is one of my favorites. The 410 grain packs a wallop for sure. Accurate although Subsonic. It has stopping power. Lighter ammo in 45-70 is faster but just doesn't have the same knock down ummmph!! Hahaha 😆 Just my humble opinion!!
