• Q: Can you switch calibers or modules on this stock if you have another vector?

  Hi James and welcome. No, you cannot simply switch calibers or modules on a Kriss Vector stock by swapping parts from another Vector; the Vector platform is not designed for caliber conversion, and changing the caliber of a Vector requires a complete receiver replacement, not just swapping the stock or upper assembly with another Vector of a different caliber.   Hi Chavanna, this is not Illinois legal. Prohibited -
  A semiautomatic rifle that has the capacity to accept a detachable magazine or that may be readily modified to accept a detachable magazine, if the firearm has one or more of the following:
  ❌ i. a pistol grip or thumbhole stock;
  ❌ ii. any feature capable of functioning as a protruding grip that can be held by the non-trigger hand;
  ❌ iii. a folding, telescoping, thumbhole, or detachable stock, or a stock that is otherwise foldable or adjustable in a manner that operates to reduce the length, size, or any other dimension, or otherwise enhances the concealability of, the weapon;
  iv. a flash suppressor;
  v. a grenedae launcher;
  ❌vi. a shroud attached to the barrel or that partially or completely encircles the barrel, allowing the bearer to hold the firearm with the non-trigger hand without being burned, but excluding a slide that encloses the barrel

  NEW YORK
  The following rifles are prohibited:
  ✘ Semi-automatic rifles that can accept a detachable magazine and have one or more of
  the following seven features:
  ❌ 1. a folding or telescoping stock;
  2. a pistol grip that protrudes conspicuously beneath the action of the
  weapon;
  ❌
  3. a thumbhole stock;
  4. a second handgrip or a protruding grip that can be held by the
  non-trigger hand;
  5. a bayonet mount;
  ❌ 6. a flash suppressor, muzzle break, muzzle compensator, or threaded
  barrel designed to accommodate a flash suppressor, muzzle break, or
  muzzle compensator; or
  7. a grenade launcher.

  Hi Oleg, yes sir, this is CA complaint.
  Permitted:
  ✔ All rimfire caliber rifles with a magazine capacity of 10 rounds or fewer (e.g.: .22LR, .17HMR, etc.) are permitted, excluding rifles with tubular magazines in lever-action firearms, which do not have magazine restrictions. Rimfire caliber rifles are not considered “assault weapons” and can have features that centerfire rifles cannot.
