Liberty's Ultra-Light sets the bar even higher. The case is half the weight, but twice as strong. It combines Liberty's innovative Civil Defense projectile with Shell Shock Techs' groundbreaking cases.

I like these for my LCRx, minimal recoil but hard hitting. Perfect for EDC.

Great ammunition, feeds good! Lightweight, feels like an empty sidearm. Great price! Thanks Buds Gun Shop!

I wasn't sure these would function in the firearm I wanted to use them in, but they actually work in all my 9mm guns. I will be ordering more. I really like the light weight.

LOWEST FELT RECOIL - EXTREMELY ACCURATE, AND A PLEASURE TO SHOOT!!! I purchased this 50gr., other 56gr., 68gr., 80gr., 90gr. and 102gr. .380 ammo to determine how my Tisas Fatih 13 would react. Prior to my test, I consulted with a few law enforcement personnel that have more experience with ammo types than myself, to get their perspective and input as to what I would expect to feel. Their general consensus was "the heavier the projectile/grain, the less recoil and muzzle flip. Their rationale was " the heavier slower bullets are easier to control. While I appreciated their theory, I was not able to quite understand it. So, I loaded (3) 50gr liberty ultra-lights +p's over (3) 102gr. rounds. [I refrain from naming the manufacturer, so as not to disparage their product] the Liberty Ultra Light 50gr. +P's generate a different sound than all of the other ammo types. It's more of a snappy hiss, than the snappy pop normally heard. I believe that it's due to a combination of the material type, the projectile design and the +P that creates this snappy hiss sound, which is actually easier on the ears, and kinda cool...lol. The very first shot fired removed the center red dot from the center of target, exactly where I was aiming! Extremely Accurate and pleasant to shoot. There was an IMMEDIATE annoyance when the 102gr. rounds fired. While they were accurate, they felt out-of-control and absolutely uncomfortable. They made me want to want squeeze the firearm harder to manage the recoil. I took stock of what just happened, regained my grip control, and continued my experiment, comparing the 56gr., 68gr., 80gr.,90gr. and 102gr. rounds against the 50gr. +p Liberty Ultra-Lights... ***THE RESULTS ARE IN*** The 50gr. Liberty Ultra Lights +P has less felt recoil and is extremely accurate, in addition to the superior wound channel and over-penetration mitigation as a result of the material and design. Additionally the NovX Engagement Extreme Self-Defense Ammunition 380 ACP 56. Grain Fluted Lead Free rounds also had similar pleasant, accurate results-Yes, I do endorse the NovX's. I took a few weeks researching and learning the specs of aforementioned, to include velocity, kinetic energy, accuracy, and penetration vs. over-penetration. I feel much better now that I understand the nature of the bullets of my choice, and know that, heaven forbid, I find myself in a defensive situation, that aiming center mass is not the only option to stopping a life threatening adversary. So, in all actuality, not theoretically speaking, the days of needing a heavier bullet to deliver adequate penetration and stopping power are over. Going forward into the foreseeable future, LIBERTY AMMUNITION 50 Grain 9MM +P “ULTRA LIGHT'S and NovX Engagement Extreme Self-Defense Ammunition .380 ACP 56 Grain Fluted Lead Free rounds have passed the test and are my defensive rounds of choice, by research and experience. Liberty Ultra-Lights .380 & 9MM +P “ULTRA LIGHT'S --and-- the NovX .380 and 9mm in the lowest grain offered is preferred.

The case is two parts and has a seam in the case wall. I can feel this seam catching in the gun when I cycle the slide of my glock with my hand. Given that the case is a harder material than brass, and doesn't appear to be lubricated, I am concerned that it may introduce unnecessary wear to my glock. Not recommended.

These are light fast and powerful and expensive! They are my carry round not my practice round :-)
