This is our Laminate variant of the American made AK-47 rifle chambered in 7.62x39mm and measures 35.25” in overall length. See below for rifle characteristics:
- Laminate wood butt stock, upper and lower hand guards and a black polymer grip.
- Black oxide finish
- Fully Heat-Treated, Mil-spec stamped Receiver
- 4150 Nitride Barrel (16.25” length), 14×1 LH thread
- FORGED Trunion, bolt and carrier
- Machined scope mount side rail
- Front and rear sight (both adjustable)
- Bolt hold open Safety Lever
- Bayonet Lug
- Cleaning Rod
- Extended magazine release
- Magazine Capacity: 30
- Semi-automatic closed-bolt action

Overall the gun looks good but the trigger grip comes in black it does not come in brown or wood color like you see in the picture

Riley Defense RAK47 C L (Classic) Buds Guns did a great job keeping me informed all the way to my pick up at ffl. The Rifle was just as described and in perfect condition. I had one problem that was totally my fault and Riley Defense took care of it within 30 minutes after I emailed them. Thanks Riley Defense and I will surely use you again 👍

Very disappointed with what I had received from Riley Defense. The rifle did not come with the wood pistol grip as advertised in the photo, it came with a black plastic grip instead. The bolt cycle is very, very rough. The bolt always always manages to stick. Wood furniture fitment is terrible, especially around the gas tube which happens to also be very loose. Would not recommend buying this American AKM with all these QC issues.

An excellent shooter with all of the features of the iconic heritage AKs. ...After a thorough inspection and lube, It took under ten rounds fired and manually cycled before it began running like a clock. No failures at all since then, with over 500 rounds down the pipe. I don;t regret buying an American made AK with this quality. The laminated stock is gorgeous too!

It’s a great looking solid gun. My only gripe would be the sights were not that accurate. Which seems to be on par with just about every AK. Still fun to shoot.

This is my first AK and I must say I love it, the rounds are cheap and readily available to accessories are cheap and readily available, the craftsmanship on the gun is pretty good and the wood is absolutely beautiful, it's made in North Carolina which is a plus, this thing was accurate right out of the box and will eat any ammo I want to feed it, it's a absolute machine of a gun and would recommend to anyone that's looking for this platform
