The Freedom Bantam-R is an original 1911 series 70 Colt Defender design compatible with standard Colt style replacement parts. Steel CNC machined from Bar-Stock, precision gunsmith fitted frame, slide and barrel. Featuring a black Oxide finish with red Cocobolo wood grips, HD Chrome barrel for excellent accuracy and easy cleaning, positive barrel lock-up, lowered and relieved ejection port, tuned power style extractor, standard Dovetail (Novak Compatible) sight cuts for easy sight change outs. Includes extra magazine, canvas range bag and extra recoil springs.

Pretty neat little pistol. A little heavy, but 100% all steel construction . So far 100% reliable with no malfunctions with a couple hundred rounds so far. Gun shot a few inches to the left so I swapped out sights for genuine Novak sights with an adjustable rear . Like it well enough now to call it a keeper. Swapped to G-10 grips & sent it out to CCR refinishing to have their CPII finish applied . Only real negative is that everything I've put on it so far has taken a little hand fitting to make it work . Still no real "deal breakers" ...

Fusion makes great 1911's and this one is no exception. I bought a custom from them 12 years ago and they are all great quality. Great customer service.
