Amazing gun for the price!

This gun is amazing and very accurate. I invested into the xdm elite because it is ambidextrous and by me be left handed it turned out perfect. Put maybe 500 rounds through it and I only had it for a week with no problems can't even describe how easy it is to conceal and it feels good in your hands. I can't wait to get my hand on the xdm elite osp threaded 9mm.

The item purchased was replaced with the correct weapon. The original weapon was incorrectly packaged by Springfield Armory and was a full-size XDM Elite 9mm 3.8. I went directly to Springfield Armory customer service who immediately had me return the incorrect firearm via Federal Express and replaced the firearm with the compact version.

The XDM Elite is a refined take on the high capacity polymer pistol. I've been a fan of XD/XDM pistols for years, having owned several, and this one does not disappoint. With it's stubby 3.8" barrel and shortened grip it's appropriate for concealed carry. After having taken it to the range and put a couple of hundred rounds down range it cycled reliably, regardless of the ammo: hollow points, crappy Russian fmj, no problem. Not the smallest compact pistol, but you do get to carry 14 1. Highly recommended! 5 stars for this XDM. And, of course, I highly recommend you buy from Bud's! These guys are excellent. I purchased my new Springfield Armory XD-M Elite 3.8 Compact from Bud's on Labor Day and couldn't be happier. This was my first purchase and the process was very easy. Bud's kept me informed with email updates all along the process after purchase. My new handgun arrived at my LGS the next week and I took it from the countertop straight outside to the range. This pistol shoots extremely well due to the added weight of a compact model over a subcompact or micro compact. The target sight picture is made easy with the fiber optic front sight and U-dot tactical rack rear sight. I really like these compared to traditional 3-dot sights. I specifically chose this model, because I have large hands and need a full-size grip. It ships with three backstraps to choose from.
The XD-M Elite 3.8 Compact is exactly what I require from my every day carry gun. Thanks to Bud's and Springfield Armory.

My recent purchase of this gun was great. The pistol arrived and was exactly what I was looking for.
Concealable and with enough rounds too. This double stack pistol and the enhanced trigger are wonderful. Springfield did their homework on this one.

So glad I made this purchase. Ive been a fan of Springfield for years. They make solid products, this particular handgun is easily concealable with a high capacity magazine. Solid purchase, definitely recommend.
