CZ’s SP-01 Competition Red & Blue Pistols built on a proven lineage,
adding match-ready upgrades and race-gun features that competition
shooters want. This high performance pistol excels on the range and
equally well at home as a defense weapon. The competition model inherits
its build quality from its parent model, the SP-01, with upgraded
features like aluminum grips and extended aluminum base pads for an
impressive 21+1 mag capacity. The pistol includes a competition hammer
giving the pistol an exceptionally crisp, light trigger pull of less
than 7. 5-pounds, double action, and 3. 5-pounds, single action. Thanks
to the lightened hammer spring, the pistol feels lively and remarkably
responsive in the hand. Additionally, the SP-01 Competition Red &
Blue uses a lighter recoil spring for running target loads.

What can I say other than the CZ Red is a great weapon fantastically accurate and easy to shoot. And the fact that it’s DA SA is awesome!

Really nice, but slide-to-frame fit on my particular pistol was sloppy.

I Love it! I Bought the Red one. At my local gun club they were selling it for $1391.00. I was checking it out every time I was at the range but it was too much for me. I was planning on getting the Tactical also a very nice gun as they are between $700 and 800. Thought I could upgrade it to something close to the Competition. When the price dropped to $1000 I had to buy it. To mod a Tactical you would easy go over the cost of the Competition and still not have as nice a gun. The trigger is fantastic, mine measured with a wheeler digital scale, DA 4.135lb and SA 1.69lb both on 5 pull average. 21 round beautifully matched Red Mags, Comp hammer and lightened springs. All adds up to makes it a pleasure to shoot nice mild recoil due to the weight. The aluminum grips look fantastic. Fit and finish on this pistol is like a piece of art. At 1k you can't go wrong just Buy it!
