Fast shipping from Buds. CZ has an excellent product line. This is primarily a target pistol. It does not have a firing pin block. It has a very good trigger. It feeds and ejects as expected. It is accurate. I would buy again.

If you want a pistol that will run without issues and no matter what abuse you put to it then this is the one. The fit and finish of this pistol is not to high end to where if you get it dirty it won't run but just high end enough that the accuracy is immaculate. I have this paired with a Holosun 508 and I can accurately reach out to 100 yards. If you are a bad shot, this gun is good enough to make you a good shot. The double action is heavy but not heavy enough to reduce accuracy and the single action is nice and crisp with very little creep. The only negative I have for this pistol is the grips. The grips are fine for light shooting in decent weather but for prolonged shooting or shooting in rain they tend to get slippery and the gun will jump in your hand a bit. However, I bought a set of Lok Grips ($75 Palm Swell Bogies) and have had no issues since. To date, I have about 10k rounds through this and have only had 2 jams. 1 jam was from running 100 rounds without cleaning and it jammed around the 980 round count and the other jam was from some really cheap "buddy" reload steel case ammo. This pistol will literally run anything that you want to put through it. All in all, if you are looking for a pistol that has the quality and accuracy of a 5k pistol like an Atlas 2011 or STI Stacatto 2011 and still be under 2k with sight and grips, then you can't go wrong with this pistol.

Received my Shadow 2 today. As always Buds shipped quickly. Not really a review of the pistol.... just wanted to share that I received the new version WITH the rear serrations. Awesome surprise when I saw it since the site shows the one without serrations, and in the questions section it is also mentioned this. Luck of the draw, or maybe they are shipping only the new version now?
