Excellent firearm, I Love the straight pull bolt action and Bud's had the best pricing.

The Impulse is an excellent rifle. With all the adjustment for fit I've been able to really dial in this rifle to my body. That's important to quickly get a proper sight picture without having to contort yourself to get it into firing position. I bought this straight pull design for speed of operation and a proper fit aids that a lot. The rifle is a quality product with excellent fit and finish. In my 308 chambering I appreciate the soft recoil pad. Accuracy is top notch. You will have to use this rifle to get the bolt slicked up as it is a bit stiff at first. It also takes a bit practice to remove the bolt but is simple once you learn. This rifle's action works best cycling the bolt aggressively. If you haven't used a straight pull rifle be prepared as it is different from regular bolt actions that you will learn to love.

Very fast action. So far, I really like it. The bolt is tight, you can't use a soft touch. Pull hard. The magazine is a problem for me. It can randomly fall out of the receiver. I'm not sure why. I will be looking into how to tighten up that lock up.

I bought this firearm to donate for a raffle and the winner loves the gun. I will buy in future.
