  Hi Donnie, basically, the Shield Plus is not an easy racking gun like the EZ models. The Performance Center models have upgraded parts, including night sights and ported barrel & slide. You can compare all the differences yourself on the S&W web site.

  No, Bud's Policy is to simply remove the state non-compliant magazines leaving it up to the buyer to purchase the compliant ones.

  semi auto striker fired no it is a striker fire gun. a striker fired gun (like this one) does not have a hammer but has a firing pin that is under tension and the trigger releases the firing pin to strike the primer the gun fires and the action cycles resetting the firing pin to be ready for the next shot
