I received my M9A4 a few days ago from Buds and couldn’t be happier with the fast shipping to FFL. I have recently found though that the front tritium sight does not work. Tritium does not have a hint of glow at night. The rear sights are fine! Gotta admit, it’s a bummer! Not sure what I’m doing about this yet. This handgun presents very well with fit and finish and is very smooth cycling action. Can’t wait to put some rounds down range.

Disappointing operation out of the box..... I have been a Beretta fan and looked forward to this purchase.... unfortunately the slide did not fully rack when manually cycled and Beretta had me ship the firearm for repairs ....I had unfortunately not noticed a similar comment online until after I purchased it. I probably would have thought it was a "one off" but nevertheless it happened and I hope the shop does not take too long (estimate was 6-8 weeks)! Looking forward to shooting the first rounds through it.... my 85, 51, 92 all operate great -- (total of all 3 cost less than this one) and for the money, the poor slide operation of my M9A4 was a shocker. I gave it 3 stars out of potential, and the expectation that the 3rd party shop Beretta had me send it too would do a great job. I would not have bought it though if I knew this was going to be what I had to do after my purchase..... maybe the 92X is better buy.

I'm prior Army so the 92 platform isn't new and quite familiar. This model brings the 92 into the modern era and I love it. I already installed the muzzle break and man! I almost can't feel the slide move it's so light recoiling with the muzzle break. I have to choose a RMR mount which Beretta will send you. Without the break it shoots great as well and I recommend.
