I just had the opportunity to run one of these and I've decided to purchase one. Does anyone know if there is an after-market Bull Barrel available?

Hi Glen and welcome. There is not a Bull Barrel that I am aware of. The current barrel is fitted to the slide muzzle. A Bull or thicker barrel would only be obtained by decreasing the caliber or muzzle diameter. https://www.springfield-armory.com/sa-35-series-handguns/sa-35-handguns/

Is this SA-35 California compliant? If not, will there be California compliant version available? If so, when?

it is doubtful that it will ever be on the CA DOJ approved list. EAA would have to produce a CA compliant version then submit it to CA and pay for testing then wait for CA approval for a Gun that most likely will not have many sales

John, buds had a couple right when they first came out but sold out extremely fast. Unfortunately buds wont give out estimated times of delivery, so no way to know when they will receive any. I really like this gun. It shoots well and feels great in the hand. I’ve made this my new every day carry gun. My only criticism is that it only comes with one magazine. I would definitely recommend this gun for purchase to others.

Love this pistol. I had a custom Browning HiPower years ago and this pistol has most of the same features right out of the box. It shoots great and the price was definitely right.

There have been many mixed reviews on this gun. I was hesitant to buy at first. after that being said this hi power is by far one of my favorites! After all of the negative when this gun first came out, I do think Springfield worked out all of the issues. I Hope!! I was able to find original hi power grips. "red backs" and they did require some fitting. very tight hammer and great slide to frame fit. I took it out and shot from a rest and this bad boy hit dead on the money!! The finish on the gun is expectable. all in all, I'm happy with my purchase. Buds is great as always!!

Impressed is an understatement! This is one sweet firearm, the looks are amazing, the feel in hand again amazing! I am so glad I pulled the trigger on the SA-35! I waited way, way to long for my local dealer to bring one in for me. He failed and Bud's delivered! Mine looks as good as all the pictures in all the gun magazines. Thank you Bud's!
