Is this SA-35 California compliant? If not, will there be California compliant version available? If so, when?

it is doubtful that it will ever be on the CA DOJ approved list. EAA would have to produce a CA compliant version then submit it to CA and pay for testing then wait for CA approval for a Gun that most likely will not have many sales

John, buds had a couple right when they first came out but sold out extremely fast. Unfortunately buds wont give out estimated times of delivery, so no way to know when they will receive any. Are all parts made and assembled in USA?

Pat, It is made/assembled in USA, but all parts are probably not. All assembly, custom work and repairs are done in Geneseo, Illinois, USA. Parts are made in various places across the world including, but not limited to, Brazil (most notably for some 1911-style firearms), Hungary and at various locations in the U.S. Actually the Springfield XD is made in Croatia, so no not all models are made in the United States. .....Have a great day sir!

Lots of rumors the frames and slides are sourced from Turkey from a company that made hi power clones in the past.

This is made in the good ole USA. Highly doubt all the parts are made in the USA Because really no gun manufacturer is 100% USA made. In order to find out where the parts came from you would have to contact Springfield at +1-800-680-6866. Hope this helps.

Love this pistol. I had a custom Browning HiPower years ago and this pistol has most of the same features right out of the box. It shoots great and the price was definitely right.

There have been many mixed reviews on this gun. I was hesitant to buy at first. after that being said this hi power is by far one of my favorites! After all of the negative when this gun first came out, I do think Springfield worked out all of the issues. I Hope!! I was able to find original hi power grips. "red backs" and they did require some fitting. very tight hammer and great slide to frame fit. I took it out and shot from a rest and this bad boy hit dead on the money!! The finish on the gun is expectable. all in all, I'm happy with my purchase. Buds is great as always!!

Impressed is an understatement! This is one sweet firearm, the looks are amazing, the feel in hand again amazing! I am so glad I pulled the trigger on the SA-35! I waited way, way to long for my local dealer to bring one in for me. He failed and Bud's delivered! Mine looks as good as all the pictures in all the gun magazines. Thank you Bud's! My son and I ran over 500 rounds of different brands target ammo through this pistol without one single hiccup right out of the box after we cleaned and oiled it. Simple & easy to field strip for cleaning. For the money this is a simple reliable well balanced 9mm pistol. It is a fine remake of the Browning Hi Power which I happen to own. We actually put a set of Pachmayr grips on it from a Browning H P fit perfectly

I have been trying to obtain one of these since they were released. Since I am stuck in a 10 round magazine state, none are available here. Gun shops in other states would not ship one even with no magazine. Buds said no problem. Love the looks and feel of the SA-35. I carried a Browing Highpower in Vietnam and always liked the gun. (Someone offered me way too much money in country for it, so I sold it). This SA-35 is a much better gun from trigger to no magazine disconnect.

I am very pleased with my new SA-35. Fit and finish is excellent. The action is smooth and the trigger is surprisingly crisp and light. The gun has functioned perfectly. No complaints from me! Springfield hit one out of the park.
