Purchased this because I wanted another 45 and I do like Springfield quality, I’ve never had a problem with there products and this one didn’t disappoint it took me awhile to get the red dot sighted properly but it’s my first time with one and after some trial and error I figured it out . The gun itself shoots nicely the felt recoil is not bad at all . I have two holsters I ordered for this one is an OWB holster cut for the optic and the other is an OWB cut for the optic and the light and both fit and wear perfect although the one that is fit for the optic and light is a bit large it is very well made . Buds was fantastic in the process and kept me up to date all the way through !!

Great pistol! Very accurate, easy to conceal, and easy to handle. Only thing I don't like about this gun is the low capacity. An extra magazine is a must.

What an awesome EDC in a reputable caliber. Is it snappy? a little (nothing that is not manageable). Are there more fun guns to shoot? Off course… but for an everyday carry, I still have fun with it at the range. Is it accurate? … If used for its intended purpose (hit where intended within 20ft. It is. Very much so). Is it reliable? Have put over 400 rounds of all types of ammo… including various hollow points… not one failure to date. Does it have enough rounds? I think so. A target placed .45acp round has proven effectiveness. Would I purchase another… I have already… in 9mm caliber and practice with both. Its most appreciated features…the grip safety gives me piece of mind and the optic makes target acquisition a breeze. The slim profile (less tha 1”) is truly convenient and very easy to maintain… Never had an issue and have grown to appreciate managing this pistol… exactly what I was looking for in my EDC.

Springfield XDS I have the original model. I also have the XDS Mod. Both in 45 ACP.. When they came out with the XDS Mod. 2 with the red dot sights I had to have it… The Springfield, XDS in 45 ACP or 40 smith and Wesson or 9 mm perfect carry gun very concealable…
