What red dot optics fit this gun?

The Springfield XD, XD. ... 2, XD(M), XDS, Hellcat (Non-OSP) Pistol Red Dot Adapter Mount- M.R.A. This product will allow the shooter to utilize a variety of red dot sights on their Springfield with one adapter. So with adapter plate it looks like you can utilize different brand Dots.

The Springfield site for this model number shows one picture with a Hellcat-like rear sight (white U), and another picture either all black serrated rear site. There is no picture here at Bud’s of the rear sight. So What is the rear sight like?

This one comes with a black Serrated Rear Sight and a white dot front sight. Hope this helps.

Do the mags from the XDs Gen 1 fit this XDs Mod 2?

Jeffrey, there are no issues with the flush fit magazines. The base pads of the extended magazines will not readily fit. Cheers and stay safe!

This is a beautiful pistol, my second XD-S mod 2. This one is one that is going out of production, which is a shame. This is the longer slide 4.0 model, so it has a longer sight radius and longer barrel for better accuracy and increased MV. Good trigger, THIN is another benefit to this pistol. Great for CCW, think of it as a 9mm “1911” commander but it’s a striker fired pistol. BLUF I love it. PS. The mod2 .45 ACP is a soft shooter, Added a light laser , my house gun!

Love how concealable this pistol is while still having a 4" barrel. The XD-S fits my hand much better than the Hellcat series. Nice factory sights and pretty comfortable to shoot for a smaller pistol.
