This Rossi .22 WMR semi-auto rifle is the first one I’ve owned of theirs. Once I completed the FFL transfer paperwork from a local gun dealership, I removed the gun from its shipping box and checked the stamping on the exterior of the barrel to ensure it was chambered for.22 WMR. It was. Why did I do this? Because I was unsure after viewing the owners manual online AND checking on information from Rossi’s website IF this rifle was indeed a .22 WMR long gun! Now for more experience with the rifle so far. After correctly attaching the Sig 3-16 x 44 scope onto the Rossi’s picatinny rail I went to my local gun range to zero the rifle. Of course first three shots weren’t even on paper at 50 yards (where I always begin with any long gun). So into the barrel goes my green laser bore sighting tool. Re-checked where the green dot was, moved the elevation and windage of the scope over to the dot, re-centered the reticle’s crosshairs onto the bulls eye of the target and fired three more rounds. After a few more adjustments of the scope’s up n down, left n right, recentering the crosshairs, I was able to achieve a reasonable grouping using Armscor’s .22 WMR ammo. Now this Rossi is in no way anything approaching anything close to a match grade rifle, nope. Its tolerances are not match grade at all. Nor is Armscor’s .22 WMR ammunition. But, for less than $400 (Bud’s pricing), the rifle is very respectable. Since my initial experience on the gun range I’ve added a Caldwell bi-pod (9-13”) to the front sling stud mount. Very easy installation and great support for steady aiming and firing of the Rossi.22 WMR rifle!

After a out of the box cleaning and re-lube this rifle performed like a champ. I have been looking for a semi auto 22mag rifle for a while. Well my search is over. Thanks Buds for yet another fantastic deal. I will be dealing again.

Perfect for what I wanted. Something light with more distance than 22lr and not as loud as center fire.

It's always great to buy products from Bud's. This Rossi 22mag. is just a kick the pants. Very accurate and fun to shoot. Received the rifle very fast and I can't say enough about Bud's. Thank you and look forward to another purchase soon.
