Gun is heavier than I expected. Shoots great got delivered to my ffl fast. I will say its hard to find 35 whelen ammo. But shoots great.

Excellent rifle! Out or the box, the trigger had no creep and broke clean at 2 pounds. The ammo i chose from Buds had excellent grouping at 200 yards with 2 holes touching. I would recommend this rifle to anyone.

I ordered this rifle just before Christmas of 24. I am very pleased with the quality. Out of all the caliber offerings from CVa I chose 35 Whelen because I will be using the rifle on our family farm in Louisiana for deer and hogs during the primitive arms season. This rifle is a straight up 500 yd moose gun if needed. With the factory installed muzzle brake this rifle has very minimal recoil. Can’t wait to hunt it this next fall. Thanks Buds !!

Very nice gun. I have shot maybe 40 rounds thru it. I have not benched shot the gun for accuracy. Changin my scope on it. It was a little heavier than expected but not all bad as she is a 35 Whelen. Trigger is very nice. Wanted a gun to break down and put in a pack. Keeps me under the radar. Fits the bill to a T. It should shoot sub moa at 100 yards.
