only you can answer that question. If you like optics it will be a fine combo. I dont like optics on my handguns. I did try them on some of my handguns and took them off

Hi Robert and welcome. No Sir. The Canik Series of pistols are excellent in every aspect. Target, self-defense, competition etc. I own Glocks, S&W's, Beretta's and a plethora of other big brands but, my many Caniks hang in there with the best of them in every aspect. Canik makes pretty nice pistols and Aimpoint makes excellent sights. If you want it then I don't think it's a waste. Though, Aimpoint sights are generally intended to be quite rugged and indestructible to an extent that might be excessive if its intended use is just for a range gun. Other cheaper options might be easier to justify. Also, I'm not aware of Aimpoint product with a green dot, only red.

Will a crimson trace cts-1250 fit the optics cut

Terry, yes it will fit. The SFX comes with 5 Optic Plates, including one with the doctor footprint, which is what the CTS-1250 has. Have a great day!

Buds ordered the Canik SFx Rival Darkside for me which was hard to find. The online ordering process was easy and the process to complete the order once it arrived at Buds was simple & quick. I cleaned my new Rival. I took it to the range & I put 400 plus rounds through it using Federal 115 grain, Fiocchi 115 grain, & Federal 124 grain ammo with zero failures. For the money, this gun is amazingly accurate with a awesome factory trigger & a great feel/grip. I highly recommend this gun for competition or just simply having fun at the range. To disassemble & reassemble is very easy.

The Canik SFX Rival had great reviews from multiple sources and those are well deserved. An awesome bargain for this complete kit and it shot well right out of the gate. Very nice trigger! As for Bud’s, awesome service and fast shipping! They include a purchase warranty which I used because the price dropped the day after I purchased. That process was fast and easy. I highly recommend this handgun and Bud’s!

I've only put a little over 200 rounds through it but I love this thing! Shoots great and feels incredible. Recoil is very manageable even for an old guy like me. Buds offered a decent price and really fast shipping. Great experience, as always.

This is fantastic. Very light, and accurate. Grip is good, not great like maybe CZ Shadow 2s, but does the job. It's a great bang for the buck as far as the quality of gun, all the accessories you get in the case, and overall quality. Definitely not a gun you'll regret getting.

First Canik…. Definitely not the last. This thing is quite the machine. No problem eating any 115, 124g, or really anything frankly. Super accurate, great trigger. Canik gives you all the frills, for WAY less money than other gun manufacturers. Already bought the MC9 to carry, plan on getting the Rival-S steel frame too, love Canik.
