I have a coyote problem and needed something big enough to drop 1 with 1 shot. The shorter barrel and very light weight make it easy to maneuver in the under brush on my property. Was thinking a 243, but I also wanted something I could afford to shoot a fair amount. I am pleased with this rifle. It holds a surprisingly good shot group at 100 yards, if I use good quality ammunition. S&B seems to work the best. This puts the round right where the crosshairs are. It shoots steel-cased TulAmmo and Barnaul pretty well, with a slightly wider group. Adjustable trigger is fantastic. I like that the adjustment uses just a 4-position selector, needing only a hex key, easily accessible through the trigger guard. I like being able to top load. Something about that is just more fun than dropping & reinserting a magazine. The stock feels pretty good. Has almost a rubber grippy feel to it. Texturing makes it easy to keep a grip on when your hands are sweaty. I like that CZ is also using standard rings now. Have an older model CZ that needed rings I had a hard time finding.
