This Sig P322 is in the top 4 most reliable 22 caliber handguns; Sig P322, Taurus TX22, Glock 44, Ruger Mark series. Comparing them; Ruger is best for slow fire accuracy and not training for using a 9mm, Glock 44 would be best pick but is NOT optic ready and they refuse to build one so they stay in the stone age, Taurus TX22 is super reliable but has a horrible wobbly factory trigger and can be upgraded easily for $30 - $54.99 DIY making it tied for #1 with Sig, the Sig P322 is reliable and cycles smooth but trigger is what it is and can not be upgraded. Still, most of my friends and students prefer the P322 because it is so ergonomically comfortable. Sorry S&W 22 Compact fans, no one I know has had good luck with it and do not find it comfortable to shoot or reliable enough to justify owning it. A BIG PLUS for the Sig P322 is the trigger shoe can be interchanged between a flat or curved trigger without any disassembly of the gun, and both come in the box!!

I was a little skeptical after owning a Sig Mosquito years ago. After the break in period, the P322 actually performed really well. I added an optic, gave it a good cleaning, and put at least 1000 rounds through it, with very few issues, most of which were ammo related. Great gun overall. No recoil, and the women at the range absolutely love shooting it.

Worked just fine right out of the box. Tried high and standard velocity ammo (CCI, Federal and Aguila). No malfunctions. Sites are big and bright. Easy to see. I especially like the high magazine capacity. A great 22 at a premium price.

I love these 22lr pistols very accurate and seems to like all the ammo I've used though I've never tried subsonic ammo and maybe that's the issue some have had though I've not seen a single issue with this weapon infact I liked it so much I ordered 2 now this was my second p322 it's even better I feel Anyway too my Taurus tx22s which I love aswell but this is a sig and I like it even more it's my favorite 22lr pistol I've owned period and I shoot alot of 22 ammo since it's a cheap range choice.. perfect little gun for plinking or self defense Drew

my new Sig Sauer, P322 when loaded properly runs perfect but you have to make sure you load the magazine properly. Very accurate and easy to shoot one of my new favorite 22 pistols that I own.

This firearm is amazing. I am still trying to decide which of my 22lr’s is my favorite, but this one is on the top. For the amount of money and features that are included, this gun is amazing. Very dependable.

    Robert, Sig does not acknowledge there is a problem with the barrel, as per their reply to an inquiry about it -
    Thank you for contacting Sig Sauer
    22LR ammunition is typically a dirtier ammo which can cause increased fouling and leading in the barrel and bore. Cleaning intervals for the P322 will vary depending on ammo, since some is much dirtier than others. Standard cleaning with a bore solvent and brass or nylon brush will resolve this fouling. We have seen an increase in claims of lead fouling from consumers shooting exclusively lead rounds. We recommend alternating between lead and copper plated .22 LR ammunition to help rectify that issue.

    Richard, yes, includes an optic-ready removable rear sight plate so you can easily add a ROMEOZero red dot optic without the use of adapter plates. The P322 also comes with a threaded barrel adapter making it suppressor ready right out of the box, and with its ambidextrous controls, interchangeable flat and curved triggers, and fiber optic front and rear sights. Magazine loader also included. Have a great day!
