I've purchased many Glocks from Buds and wanted to try the Holosun SCS for MOS. As an over forty person, my research shows that green dots may be easier to sight than red dots. I have both red and green and don't see a ton of difference, so it's largely personal preference I think. This reticle arrived relatively quickly from Buds and was easy to install. Perhaps the biggest issue if installing yourself as opposed to an armorer is to make sure the torque is set correctly on the optic screws that attach to the frame. First trip to the range with this showed it worked well on my G19.5 and I'm happy with the purchase. I may purchase additional ones for my other Glocks. The ONLY downside to this is that the reticle window is smaller than some of the other Holosun models. I find that it's a tradeoff because if you're carrying you don't want a mailbox on your slide. This seems to be working well for me.
