Nice gun. Shoots well. The sights are excellent; better than the Hellcat in my opinion I ended up selling because there aren't much aftermarket accessories. Also no optic plate.

Bought to upgrade my old KelTec PF9 EDC. The sights are a major improvement and the increased magazine capacity is also. The magazine with the flush base plate is the most practical for pocket carrying (12 rounds) The trigger is less mushy but still far short of competition quality. There's about 1/2" additional length to the slide and I'm looking for a pocket holster that fits reasonably. I liked the grip texture though I believe it would be annoying with a serous range session. Accuracy is definitely adequate for a personal defense. Overall, no serious regrets

First impression is WOW, love it. I've had some nice guns that have cost a lot more but this is one of the nicest guns I've ever owned.

Please note, this is a review of the POLYMER framed version of this firearm, not the aluminum alloy. First of, I included a photo of this thing next to a typical ink pen to show for folks unfamiliar with the typical size of these "Pro" or "XL" micro-9s. It's not a pocket pistol, but neither is it like concealing a service weapon. It's so slim and concealable, that an IWB carry is not needed. I carry it comfortably in a Rounded OWB holster and it hides perfectly under my shirt. Speaking of holsters, there aren't many fit specific options at the time of this review, but P365 soft holsters with an open muzzle portion will hold this fine. This is a JOY to carry. You will forget that it's there. Honestly. It's so light, unless it bumps something, you'll forget that it's on your hip. It is not a joy to shoot, to put it bluntly, but thus is the relationship between weight and recoil absorption. It's too light to take any of the recoil for you. Someone with weak hands or wrists will not enjoy this thing at all, but if you can tame the kick, it's combat accurate. The SIGHTS are some of the BEST from the factory that I've ever seen, especially for the price point. I teach concealed carry classes, and this is my prime example of a sub-$400 gun that is a budget alternative to the other name brand EDC style pistols. Grip: tiny, but the included grip extension makes it a solid platform. Sights: amazing night sights, VERY well done. Accuracy: Good, not fantastic. Concealed carry distances, it's great. Competition grade, no. Recoil: Army mule that just snorted raw coffee grounds. Veeeeeerrrrry snappy, but you can't have something this light without that consequence.

Great price! Since it is so light a composite it has a bit more kick than an all metal pistol. However it is manageable.

I am a Keltec fan, and got one of these with a low serial number , they have come a long way in recent years. 100% reliable. I will say it is a snappy pistol, I expected it but was surprised a little bit by it. Keltec finish has improved but this is not Kimber.
