Love the pistol and love Buds especially the layaway and easy shipping ( thanks to Hickok45 for the info on Buds ) . My only issue for the 30 SC is finding ammo and price of ammo other than that it's a good shooter.

Excellent firearm, great functionality. Limited ammo selection. Absolutely no malfunctions. Easy access to holders, great concealability. Fits great in front pocket with a pocket holster.

this is first firearm in this caliber when I took it out shooting I was very impressed the 30 super carry is a very underrated caliber. And for the price I paid for the Smith & Wesson is very well built and handles very well.

Received my S&W 30 Super Carry pistol today in what I thought was in good order. Buds had a great price and shipped fast. The pistol is compact and feels great in the hand. I can see this pistol becoming my EDC. It is about the same size as the Glock 43, but carries 2.5 times the ammo. I am definitely impressed. The only flaw I have found is that the front tritium sight has zero glow. The rear sights are great. I do not want to lose access to my pistol by sending it back so I guess I'm going to be in the market for a front sight. I don't expect Buds to open every box so this is not on them at all. Other than that, I'm satisfied.

It has been 30+ years since I last personally owned a semi-auto handgun. I had my Beretta in the Corps more recently than that but I didn't own it personally it was issued to me. In the past I have always carried revolvers for concealed carry. I saw the new 30 SC and thought that it would make a nice carry gun and also a nice small game round that is center-fire/re-loadable if I have a barrel made for my Thompson Center Encore Pro Hunter in it. So, I took the risk and purchased this in May of 2023 and have had it for about a month now. I have put 250 rounds through it and have not had a single malfunction. I should be at 500 through it by middle of next week. I have nothing bad to say about this gun. I do have a tip though, if you reload you are going to want to get a brass catcher for this. It throws brass harder than a jet powered manure spreader and you will not be finding your brass easily or at all if you don't catch it with something. I have a buddy who stands on a painters cotton drop tarp but as I don't want to pack something that bulky to the range I just use a little one that straps to my hand and looks like a little cotton dip net for a fish tank. It works great and I don't loose any brass. The gun is more accurate than I am and the sights came aligned dead on. I have shot it as far back as 25 yards and have not had any problems keeping it on target. At 10 - 15 yards I have little tiny groups in the bulls eye. The time it takes to get your sights back on target for the next round after firing a round is faster than 9mm but other than that I can't really tell that I am shooting 30 SC vs shooting a 9mm other than I have more rounds. I have shot Hornady XTP bullets reloaded in this as well as the FMJ bullets the practice ammo comes with and it feeds both just fine. As soon as my mold shows up here from Accurate I will find out how well it shoots gas checked cast bullets. Longshot seems to be the powder it likes best as far as speed and accuracy go. I give it five stars, it is a fantastic handgun, a fun round to shoot and as always the transaction with Buds was seamless and easy.
