I just bought this rifle and had it shipped to a FFL in Denver, CO. What kind of barrel (rifled or smooth bored) does it have and what is the max shotgun shell length?

Hi Dan, this has a smoothbore barrel and has a 3" chamber, so you can fire both 2 3/4" and 3" shells, and even 1 3/4" mini shells if so desired. Stay safe & have a great day!

How do I know which choke tube is which? They are not labeled but just notched. One with two notches, one with 3 and one with 4.

I’m buying this for my 10 year old boy for his first shotgun I know I can shoot turkey shot through this gun but with the three choke tubes I should be able to shoot deer slugs through this as well is that correct?

Brad, yes sir, this shotgun includes improved cylinder, modified and full choke tubes with choke key. You get best results with slugs with IC choke tube. Do not shoot slugs with full choke. Stay safe & have a great day!

You can with modified choke ONLY, do NOT use Full Choke!
