The XD-M Elite represents the pinnacle of full-size, polymer-framed pistol design. It is built around the META (Match Enhanced Trigger Assembly) trigger for the ultimate performance in a striker-fired firearm. The META trigger sports a flat face, crisp break and integral overtravel stop that combine to deliver the best trigger in a factory polymer-framed pistol. Upgrades like an extended and flared magwell, ambi slide stop and enhanced slide serrations make the Elite a must-have option. The Elite's redesigned slide serrations give you larger and enhanced grasping grooves for even better purchase. The hammer-forged barrel is designed to deliver long life and match-grade accuracy, while its loaded chamber indicator is designed as both a visual and tactile indicator of the pistol's status. Springfield Armor XD-M Elite Compact OSP (Optical Sight Pistol) is EDC-ready. The Springfield Armory XDM Elite OSP 10mm with the 4.5" barrel is an absolute powerhouse that manages to remain remarkably controllable. The 16+1 capacity offers incredible peace of mind, providing a significant amount of firepower in a very ergonomic package. I found the Hex Dragonfly red dot to be intuitive and rugged, allowing for rapid target acquisition right out of the box. The META trigger is a standout feature, offering a crisp break and a short reset that noticeably improves accuracy during rapid fire. Even with heavy 10mm loads, the flared magwell and improved grip texture ensure the firearm stays securely in hand. It has cycled every brand of ammunition I’ve tested without a single malfunction, proving its reliability for both trail carry and home defense. Overall, this is a top-tier striker-fired pistol that delivers exceptional value and performance for any serious shooter.

This was my first 10mm and I have to say I’m impressed. After a good cleaning and lube it performs excellent, the recoil isn’t as bad as I thought it would be. I bought it as a bear gun and gladly have not had to use it in that type of situation yet. As always Buds service was exceptional.

I have had this pistol roughly a week and put a few hundred rounds through it. I just came in from shooting as I noticed the Hex Dragonfly was powering off right before I would shoot. I came in, checked everything and still the same problem. I plan to give Buds a ring about it Monday. The pistol is a sweet shooter and I am happy with it for sure. Hopefully we can get the optic issue squared away and I'll get back to having fun on my range with it.

I have owned 3 Springfield Armory handguns, two of which I own still. I read several reviews on the 10mm XDM before my purchase, some negative. I know what I want and made my purchase. The Springfield Armory XDM 10 MM is an awesome handgun. The recoil is much more manageable than some of the reviews stated, it is very accurate and the red dot that came with it is the way to go in fast accurate sighting. High capacity magazines are great for the range or self defense. I highly recommend the Springfield Armory XDM in 10 mm.

I prefer 1911s when it comes to pistols... but this one is very very good! It is well made, and the size and weight deal with the recoil nicely. Took a while to get used to the optics, but now I love it. Ran between 150-200 rounds so far, no issues.
