Excellent service from Bud's with very fast delivery time. The revolver by Cimarron was very impressive and well made. Took it to the shooting range and it was very accurate and easy to use. However, after about 60 rounds the ejector rod came out and I couldn't figure out how to get it back in. I contacted Cimarron and they were less than helpful. They sent me instructions on how the ejector rod works but they had no clue on why it would come out and really didn't even understand what I was telling them. I even sent them photos. I finally figured out that the screw underneath the ejector rod tubing had come slightly loose and that allowed the ejector rod to come out. The ejector rod also had to go into the tubing facing a certain direction. I will need to put Loctite on the screw before I take it to the range again. Again, I had to figure it all out because Cimarron was no help - and that was from talking to their repair department.

Beautiful piece 38 spl conversion of an1858 navy revolver I got it within a few days after payment cleared. Buds as always fast and secure shipping. Very happy with them.

Quality is pretty good and had to use blue thread locker on two screws that kept getting loose. Thats the only negative obviously no big deal. Now for the positives. This is a serious beautiful revolver. Trigger is extremely light and makes it easy to hit target. It has rifling in the barrel and everything works flawlessly. Brass guard is beautiful. My wife and I took turns shooting it on the same target and all of our shots were dead on and extremely tight grouping. From 5 to 25 yards. The wood grip is beautiful and consistent on both sides. This beauty is comfortable to shoot and 38spl is a wonderful all around target and defense caliber, a perfect revolver for a enjoyable time at the range for man, woman or youngster. It was a special order at the time of purchase that took about a week to ship out. Want to give thanks to Cimarron for a beautiful working quality piece of history and Bud's for old time business practices like putting costumers first and selection. Absolutely would recommend!

Buds Guns as always, great service! I love revolvers and this one is so classic. It works great, completely made of steel, with a wonderful octagonal barrel that makes look so vintage and stylish. Firing the 38 special, it is like firing 22 LR with this beautiful gun. If you like old west and historic guns and shooting them, this Cimarron reproduction is for you.

Haven't shot the revolver yet due to the lack of .38 Special ammunition, lately... However, I am well satisfied with the fit and finish of the gun and recomend it highly... David E. Bloss...

I’m very please with my 1858 New Model Army revolver. I have been watching a his gun for quite a while and decided to “pull the trigger”. The purchasing process with Buds was quick and easy. My only hiccup was the electronic check process; however, that was due to my credit union. I selected this gun for two reasons. First, I fell in love with the design. Second, it was reproduced in a 38 special caliber. I already own three other 38’s so I wasn’t adding another caliber that I would need to purchase ammo for. You can feel the quality of the gun once you hold it and begin to explore the hammer, trigger and cylinder. I can’t wait to take to the range. Thanks Buds.
