Hornady Precision Hunter 7mm PRC 175Gr ELD-X 20bx

Great ammo rifle shot prefect groups.

I have had great experiences with Precision Hunter in the past, unfortunately not with the 7 PRC load. It was nearly 200 fps slower than the advertised velocity (although my barrel was 2" shorter than the advertised test barrel). With a Bergara B-14, a rifle well known for sub moa accuracy, this ammo would not group better than 2.5" at 100 yards. With that said, sometimes certain ammo doesn't work well with certain guns. My prior experience with Precision Hunter ammo in 6.5 Creedmoor has proven to be very accurate and demonstrates excellent terminal performance. It's well worth a try, but it just didn't work out for me.

Great ammo drops deer in their tracks, so far I took 5 deer with my rugar american 7 prc, 4 droped in their tracks and 1 ran 20 yards, at ranges from 100 to 350 yards

Looking forward to seeing the groups with this ammunition after barrel break in. If it groups it will be what I will use for my New Mexico elk hunt

Devastatingly effective. Both animals dropped within 5 steps One at 370 yards the other at 35 yards.
