Is this slide compatible with the M&P shield 1.0?

No, an M&P Shield 2.0 slide is not fully compatible with an M&P Shield 1.0 frame; while you can swap some internal parts like the barrel, recoil spring, and sights, the slide release and extractor on the 2.0 are different and will not work with the 1.0 frame without modification. Hi Greg, The full size 2.0 works fine on a 1.0 frame, but the slide lock doesn't engage. The solution is to mill the 2.0 slide's notch larger (longer, really) to the same dimension as the 1.0. Putting the two slides side by side makes it easy to understand. Works fine as is, just won't stay locked back manually or on the last round. Stay safe & have a great day!

Luckily, the only items needed for the 9mm conversion will be a Barrel & magazines.

Excellent product. Factory original. Fits like a glove, functions perfectly & operates as original equipment. This is the best option for those wanting optics but do not have the factory optics cut..... Now you will. My Holosun 507K fit perfectly. I couldn't do better anywhere else...... not to mention that the price was the best around...!!

The optic ready slide works great. Racks the same as the one the 9 had. No issues. Ran around 50-60 rounds after reassembling and smooth as a baby seal in a wet suit. Thanks.
