The Canik Rival-S is the fastest, flattest shooting, most accurate gun you can get at the price point. The trigger is unmatched, literally as good and better than triggers in guns that cost two or three times more. If you are looking for a fun gun to shoot, this is a great choice. If you are looking for a competition gun, this is neck and neck with a CZ Shadow 2, with some significant advantages such as coming with a variety of optics mounting plates in the box that you would have to buy separately for the CZ. If you are looking for a home defense gun, this fits the bill just fine. If you are looking for a carry gun, look somewhere else, because this thing is *heavy*! I cannot imagine anyone being disappointed after getting this gun. And it is very shiny.

This is by far the best out-of-box competition handgun for the money. Steel frame provides the weight to provide smoother follow-up shots. Buds Gun Shop provided prompt turnaround on my order given it's limited availability.
