• Q: Besides the shorter barrel what makes it a youth shotgun? Thanks

  Hi Bart, it has a shorter length of pull of 13".
  It is also 20 gauge instead of 12 so there's a little less recoil for a youth.

• Q: Could this gun handle buck shot?

  Hi Patrick, yes sir, this will handle buck shot with no issues.
  It will also handle slugs. If you shoot slugs, use the improved cylinder choke tube, do not shoot slugs through a full choke.
  With either one, you can use both 2.75" or 3" shells.
