In general I like Tristars and have found several other models that have held up to many thousands of rounds. I feel this one would do so as well. However, it has taken some time to break in, and is not always entirely reliable. It's still early on and has improved quite a bit since the first outing. The gun does protest (jam) shooting 3 inch ammo. It now does fine with target ammo. There are ammo guidelines. It certainly does not measure up to higher end inertia shotgun I already have. I bought this one for some rougher hunting days.
