Rossi RP63 .357 Mag 3" Black 6 Shot Revolver - Blue/Black, 3.06" Barrel, 6 Rounds, Rubber Grips

I inspected this firearm thoroughly! : Timing, barrel to cylinder alignment, crane to frame gap, forcing cone gap, trigger play, hammer play, lock up. Checked barrel made sure it was not canted sight alignment good. Trigger pull classic Rossi heavy but very smooth and single action good. Finish is bright (not matt)and even, very nice. I believe it is coated stainless, I got a few different answers on that but very well done. Grip is good not great and accepts speed loaders. It fits my hand well, user opinion may vary. Very handy firearm not bulky I have cargos that I can actually pocket carry it. Have not shot it yet. Will update with positive or negative. Why four stars when this is by far one of the nicest budget compact six shot Magnum samples I've ever seen?! Well it comes with one of the worst warranties ever! I called Taurus just to see what it was since historically Rossi is limited life time. It's one year and they are not making any exceptions. Despite this being almost a perfect sample let's face it all guns can fail. Parts are unobtainable for this. After one year you pay for shipping both ways and $50 deposit which goes towards the repair and then whatever else in expenses extra work may be. In hind sight just because of the warranty you might be better off with a Taurus defender 605. One less round, still a fine weapon, comparable price point, parts are available and good warranty. I was so impressed I got two of these 63's prior to learning about the crap warranty. Luckily I'll always have a parts gun if necessary but hopefully not. You shouldn't have to by a duplicate as a parts gun. You should be able to enjoy them both. The second sample was the grey black ceracoat that's also a really nice peice. To bad they couldn't come through with at least a good warranty. *FYI that warranty also goes for the R92 levers which are a great piece point rifle very popular. You get any Rossi product test for function right away.
