First of all. THIS GUN I WAS SHIPPED IS NOT BLUE. It is a tropical looking green. more review later

My son is 8 and my daughter is 7, and the both love shooting this rifle. It's light enough that they can both shoulder it and shoot on target while standing. The bolt action is nice and smooth, so when they shoot prone, they are able to chamber the next round quickly and with minimal movement from the target. They both really like the stock sights. The only possible complaint that I have is that I wish it had come with more than one magazine. Fortunately Bud's has them.
