Nice compact gun. Has a bit of a kick since you have to get so far down on the stock to use the sights. Purchased another in 9mm.

I've been a firearms enthusiast for 40 years. Carried a variety of firearms as a police officer. Wanted a sub-2000 in .40 for some time. Never "pulled the trigger." Glad I finally did in conjunction with the current $100 rebate. This firearm has a wonderful, simple design. Don't confuse "simple" with "cheap." Although "inexpensive," this is well made. Add a couple of M Carbo upgrades and it's ready for self-defense use. Buds delivers as promised!

Just brought it home. So far. So good. Shot a little lube into the chamber and worked the bolt a few times. Heavy, of course, because it's a direct blowback, but, brand new, everything seemed smooth and I'm sure will get better with usage. Trigger is heavy, but smooth and not gritty. You'd never mistake the gun for a Sako. Everything that could be plastic, is plastic. That said, the fit and finish looks good. Glock 22 mags loaded and unloaded smoothly and securely. What has been said about the sight geometry is true. I'm going to have to spend $124 to get that Midwest industries red dot holder and a red dot, but I figured that going in. Also, no doubt will have to get that buffer tube pad to save my cheekbone, and the add-on butt pad. Again, I figured all that going in based on other reviews. But based on how everything feels out of the box, I'm happy and I'm feeling positive that the add-ons will be worth it.

Great carbine at a great price - no problems - took to range and it ran smooth and great as KEL TECS do - would reccomend to all.

As always Buds was awesome. This carbine is amazing. Right out of the box it worked amazing. I am guessing there is a break in period, I did have a couple FTF's, but usually around the second to last round or when shooting too fast, could just be the magazine though. Kinda bummed it only cam with one magazine but the weapon is pretty cool. Shoots good. I would buy another.

Right out of the box, I went to my range the gun needed oiled badly. After I oiled it up it ran fine.I fired 200 rounds no malfunction’s.I went to adjust the sight a little bit and it turned in to a 3 hour nightmare. but I finally got it perfect.it’s a good gun at a good price.

This is a fun rifle to shoot. I have put lots of rounds through mine and never once once had it jammed up on me so far. The rounds held nice groups at 100 yards, and when done for the day it is easy to clean and then store. The only issues I find is that rear sight does sit a bit low but that can be fixed by swapping it out with a new rear sight that has more hight to ones liking.
