The Little Badger is the ultimate packable survival gun. This lightweight, ultra-compact, break-open rifle is designed to go anywhere at any time. When the action is opened and the gun folded, it measures a mere 17” overall length and stows neatly in an included pack/case. The wire frame stock keeps weight to a minimum and the integrated shell holder in the back holds twelve cartridges so ammo is always at the ready. The Little Badger comes equipped with an M1 Carbine style front and rear sight. Picatinny rails are mounted top, bottom and on both sides just forward of the receiver for mounting optics and accessories. An optional handle/cleaning kit combination accessory screws into the bottom of the receiver.

Compact length and weighing only 2.9lbs, the Little Badger can truly be taken and ready for use just about anywhere!

It's more convenient to carry than the original model, everything is the same as the other, but I noticed that it weighs a few ounces more.

NOT BUDS FAULT... Gun looked good out of the box till I shot it. Gap in the chamber in front of the extractor caused cases to blow out. Picked up from FFL one day sent back to chiappa the next. I couldn't find anyone talking about this problem online so hopefully it's just a one off and I'll get it back corrected. If you purchase one of these check for this gap before you do the FFL transfer. Chiappa lead time is 6-8 weeks.

Knew what I wanted and was getting: small discreet single shot 22 LR with a threaded barrel. Surprisingly great light trigger. Sights are plastic and generally insufficient; rear peep has jagged edges and the front blade is too thick. Replaced with Bad Ace Tactical elevation-adjustable front sight (metal), 6 inch top pic rail section with windage-adjustable integrated rear peep aperture (metal),also added the carbon fiber free-float hand guard (all Bad Ace Tactical products). Bunny fart quiet with DeadAir Mask and CCI Quiet (710fps)

This thing as a crazy light trigger. My trigger breaks at just over a pound. Very accurate. Seriously very accurate. The plastic rear sight is canted to one side. I put a metal rail on it and use a red dot. When stored in the plastic tube tge thumb screw for the stock scratches the side of the receiver. No ejector just an extractor.

This is the sweetest little gun the I have for my trapping line. I have it in my backpack every time I go out. After adjusting the sights it shoots great. 5 out of 5 in a water bottle at 25 yards. Not bad. So glad I bought this. Bud's Guns made the whole transaction easy. Three days from the date of purchase to the date of delivery to my local gun shop. Will buy from Bud's Guns again.

I love the Little Badger series as a trail gun, but prefer the non 'extreme take down' version as the hinge on this one tends to loosen up and need frequent re-tightening and re-positioning. Also, since I use a red dot I don't get the benefit of the narrower profile.
