Charlie, a mixture of both. The Beretta apx a1 carry has a white dot front sight and blacked out rear sight. Personally I prefer the rear sight to be blacked out Hope this helps.

Nothing special about this Beretta. I didn't really need it (which is true of most firearms in my care) but purchased it because the ad offered a promotional gift of a small bedside safe. The weapon arrived on time, thanks to Bud's quality service, but the Beretta folks never sent the safe and didn't respond to my inquiries. I sold the APX-A1 and wrote Beretta products off my 'good guys' list.

GREAT little micro 9. Took her to the range and had zero malfunctions. All I did prior was field strip and wipe down with some Ballistol. Its now my EDC. Spare mag fits in my pocket nice and easy due to its smaller size even while being the "extended" version - and as far as im aware these no longer ship with the original flush fit mags nor are they available anywhere, just FYI. I actually got my $50 rebate in the mail today which is what prompted the review but my purchase was awhile back, regardless the price here on Buds was unbeatable as always!
