what james said about the Beretta would be true if you were talking about the A400 My A300 is a workhorse but fit and finish are not its strong suite I would rate the SX4 as having better fit and finish than my A300. Also My A300 was the dirtiest gun I ever got from any factory

Is this 2 rounds because of a removable plug?

Hi Matthew, yes sir, The magazine has a two-shot capacity*, in line with current hunting regulations in many countries, made possible by the insertion of a reducer plug. This reducer restricts firearm use to no more than three shots (two in the magazine, and one in the cartridge chamber). This device is fitted by Beretta during manufacturing and assembly of the A300 Ultima. Stay safe & have a great day!
